Fees

    

The fee for a standard consultation (50-55 minutes) is $195.

A concession rate of $165 is offered to full-time students, pensioners, holders of a Health Care Card, if you are unemployed, with no other significant income.  There is an additional fee for for letters and reports.

 

Rebates

    

Clients referred through the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative can access a Medicare rebate of $141.85 a session.  Rebates are available for up to ten sessions a year.  Referrals are only required if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate.

    

To obtain a referral, you will need to see your general practitioner or psychiatrist for an assessment of your eligibility for a Mental Health Care Plan. 

 

Most PRIVATE HEALTH FUNDS provide rebates for psychological services.

The extent of the cover varies and it is advisable to contact your health funds to see if you are eligible for a rebate.

 

Cancellations

    

Please give 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment.

Cancellations received within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a late cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the session.
